Straddle Entry
EA places a BuyStop above and a SellStop below market simultaneously. The first side that triggers wins; the opposite pending order is cancelled instantly.
Adaptive Grid Recovery
When price moves against the winning side, the EA adds positions at adaptive grid distances (PipStep1 / PipStep2) with a controlled lot multiplier. Designed for XAUUSD volatility.
Single Basket Take Profit
Take profit is set from the basket breakeven and recalculated as the grid expands. When the basket TP hits, every position on that side closes together.
Rollover Pause Window
Pending orders are removed automatically during the daily broker rollover window so the spread spike at session change does not trigger false breakouts.
Equity Kill-Switch
Equity drawdown safeguard closes every managed position and removes every pending order if the configured threshold is breached.
Max Trade Open Hours
Optional time-based exit closes a side if any position has been open longer than the configured limit.
Online License Binding
License keys are bound to MT account numbers at the server. Paid plans support unlimited or specific accounts.
Hourly Recheck
EA verifies the license every hour. Last result is cached locally for 24 hours so a brief internet drop does not stop trading.

Place the straddle
When flat and inside the trading window, EA places a BuyStop above market and a SellStop below market. Each pending order has its own pre-set TP.

One side triggers — the other is cancelled
Whichever stop order fills first wins. The opposite pending order is removed instantly so you never end up locked between two opposing positions.

Triggered side runs grid recovery
If price moves against the winning side, the EA adds positions at PipStep1 and PipStep2 distances with a controlled lot multiplier (LotExponent).

Basket closes at a single TP
Take profit is recalculated every time a new grid entry is added. When the basket TP hits, every position on that side closes together.

Recalculate & place new straddle
After a basket close, the cycle starts over: a fresh BuyStop / SellStop pair is placed around the new market price.

Pause window protects rollover
During the daily broker rollover window, pending orders are removed so the rollover spread spike does not falsely trigger a stop.

No. GOLDNOVA EA only runs on the desktop MetaTrader 5 app (Windows PC, laptop, or VPS) — it cannot run on a phone, whether Android or iPhone/iOS. The mobile MetaTrader app can only monitor your account and trades; it cannot run an Expert Advisor. For trading that runs around the clock, use a VPS.
